Frank lived in Belleville, the biggest market of dark magic. Every ten years the primal pirate clans gather in that one town, to gather supplies, to recruit be crew members but most importantly for the decadal meeting.
Frank hopes to get out of his life in the town. The lights and the spells, the magic and the glamour he wants to leave it all behind for the sea.
He's introduced to a new life when the eldest son of Captain Donald Way drags him onto the ship amid the rather event ful night of the meeting...

Parents that act like their part of the fucking WBC... A flaming homosexual son... This is going to work out great. (The story will be better than the intro, I swear!!) Gerard's parents are religious, they value their beliefs above their sons. But Gerard doesn't believe in such things. Gerard was different than all the other people his age. He always had been. No one seemed to understand his strange ways, except for his brother, Mikey. Mikey was the only person Gerard gave a shit about, in fact, he truly loved his brother. Without his brother, Gerard would be alone. Oh yeah, did I mention Gerard was gay? When Gerard's parents found out, days later, there was one less member in the Way household. The night he was disowned, started as any ordinary day, and ended in silence. Gerard was kicked out of the home, with nothing but the clothes he was wearing, and whatever was in his pockets. I felt like I was in a bad dream and couldn't wake up, everything was spinning. My chest hurt from how hard my heart was thumping. This necklace, how in the world did it get here? I didn't take it back here with me, I left it on Frank's grave in Jersey. I discreetly pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, but I didn't wake up. This was real life. "Oh! That's mine, the string must've broken loose." I heard a voice. I saw feet at first. Yellow converse shoes. Then I saw pants. Black jeans. Then I saw a jacket. A green camo military jacket, not real obviously. Then I saw tattooed hands holding a coffee cup. They were red, most likely freshly washed. Then I met eyes with the person before me. I dropped the necklace and gasped loudly, holding back a shocked scream. The person's face fell, eyes going wide. They took a step back and then a cautious one forward. "Gerard?" They whispered. After about a year, Donna gets a new boyfriend and they get married, leaving Gerard with a new step-brother, much to his despise. But then, Donna gets a horrible phone call one night from the police saying that Frank (Frank's dad) was in an accident and unfortunately didn't make it. She went under extreme depression leaving the two boys with a mother (or step-mother) that was somewhat unstable. So with a mother who was always crying and wallowing in self-pity, will the two boys actually suck it up and talk to each other when there is no one else? I like to think I have improved on writing since this time and I really don't like this. So many regrets... [Complete] Frank Iero has been suffering from the 'incident' ever since it happened. What made it worse was that it was completely his fault. His mother notices his behaviour afterwards and sends him to a therpy group. He knows he can't be 'cured' because there was nothing to 'cure'. This was him, left with the faded memories of the 'incident'. Gerard Way had to move schools because of bullying. Of course, it wasn't exactly bullying if quart labled it as abuse.
