Frank lived in Belleville, the biggest market of dark magic. Every ten years the primal pirate clans gather in that one town, to gather supplies, to recruit be crew members but most importantly for the decadal meeting.
Frank hopes to get out of his life in the town. The lights and the spells, the magic and the glamour he wants to leave it all behind for the sea.
He's introduced to a new life when the eldest son of Captain Donald Way drags him onto the ship amid the rather event ful night of the meeting...

But then, Donna gets a horrible phone call one night from the police saying that Frank (Frank's dad) was in an accident and unfortunately didn't make it. She went under extreme depression leaving the two boys with a mother (or step-mother) that was somewhat unstable. So with a mother who was always crying and wallowing in self-pity, will the two boys actually suck it up and talk to each other when there is no one else?
