In order to understand this book. Your inner child needs to be present at all times. As the adventure you are about to embark on can only be simplified by tainted innocence. A pure understanding of the things we cannot control; must not control us but simply influence our ability to adapt, love and spread love. This story is not only a personal depiction of the authors life but some of the audience as well. In appreciation of Zimbabwean heritage, the culture, the body, the soul and its magic. The Mudzimu series reveals a world that not only questions religions, culture and traditions. It embraces mental health, spiritual health and hopefully physical health as it has become lost within our circles.

These are the seeds. Your mind; the tools and water to grow them.

This is food.

They bloom in happiness without giving a care about the world. They are so beautiful. You know, I easily get intrigued by nature; it so beautiful. Sometimes, I wish I could be like the birds. They are so free. They are limitless. They are not enslaved or imprisoned to one place. They have freedom to fly and stop wherever they want to. No one can stop them from flying and singing in the morning sun. There is no restriction to life in their world. They thrive in freedom. They have no expectations to live up to; you don't need to live up to any standards, all you need to do is live. As humans, we are not expected to live that way. We grew up in a society where there are standards and norms everyone is expected to follow. There are limits to what we can do and where we can go. Some people are lucky and bypass those norms. Some of us aren't that lucky. Some of us don't have physical freedom, emotional freedom or even spiritual freedom. We are imprisoned by forces around us and forced to do things that we don't want to do but who are we to complain, right? It's the norm of the society." Cover photo by @jane_lausten
