She's the new girl, and everyone's obsessed with her. Perfect grades. Perfect looks. Perfect confidence. She doesn't need anyone, doesn't try to impress anyone. Guys want her, girls want to be her, and the whole school watches her like she's some kind of goddess. 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 was the definition of control. A quiet perfectionist, she lived her life by a strict schedule, keeping everyone at arm's length. Smart, composed, and flawless, no one could break through her walls. That is, until Nathan noticed her. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 was naturally brilliant, but unlike Sophia, he thrived in chaos. He didn't need to plan-he simply did what he wanted. And what he wanted was to push Sophia out of her controlled world. He liked the challenge, the fire he saw hidden beneath her cold exterior. Every time he teased her, every time he got close, he saw more of her untapped side-the part of her that was fierce and real. But what Nathan didn't know was that every time he talked to her, he was making her life harder. Her carefully constructed world was unraveling, and at home, she paid the price for letting anyone in. The more Nathan pushed, the more Sophia distanced herself, and Nathan couldn't figure out why. The more he wanted to break through her walls, the more he found himself tangled in the mystery of why she always kept him at arm's length. "Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!" "And why not after school or in the weekend?" "Because there's no thrill to it. Please, Louisa." He asked again. I sighed. "What's in it for me, Liam?" He chuckled. "You get to spend time with me! Liam Gilbert, your tour guide, the guy you come to when you don't want to study!" "Let's make a deal," I smirked, "if I ditch with you then you have to study with me." He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school. He ditched most days, slept in, never studied for anything and his attendance record wasn't exactly great. When Liam finds out that Louisa, the British good girl, was the perfect student, he wanted to have some fun. But, there comes a price. If Liam wanted Louisa to ditch school then he would have to study with her. Louisa had no idea what she was in for when ditching with Liam and some days, it goes further than just ditching class. Louisa and Liam are just going to have to go the distance if they want to keep up with each other. All Rights Reserved 2017 © Sarahxox_16
