Passing the Time

Sydney is a senior in high school struggling through online school with everyone else. She is lonely from all the time she spends in her room, but not without hope. She's always been a hopeful, if not optimistic person.
Andrew is in Mr. Vaughns English class with Sydney. They're the only ones who do the reading, or at least the only ones who speak up in class.
In the first two months of school Andrew and Sydney experience a love story worthy of a Jane Austen novel, until Andrew ruins it all.
Romance turns to heartbreak, turns to manipulation, turns to using people simply to get through life.

This is the first draft and all criticism/ideas are welcome. Whether they're grammatical, stylistic, or related to the plot I would love to hear how I can be better.
