   The myths and folklore of humans throughout time was always considered fiction. Stories of something humans couldn't understand, but that was not the case. The Lirazs were the myths and folklore made real until they were nearly wiped out. Except the most important ones, Ebony and Zoe are the heirs of this lost civilization, and when they finally mature, their powers are revealed, and they are thrusted into a hidden world.

Trust me when I say the death was truly a kindness, because anyone who survived the awakening, would beg for death. I was positive that my suffering would come to an end when I turned eighteen. I was hoping and praying to be marked as a feeder, nothing more, nothing less. Death was the only way out of this world. You see, all of the kings who ruled over the earth were cruel and calculating. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
