Amity Blight is a lonesome water-witch-wannabe with parents that have no time for her. In the middle of summer, the Blight family moves into a part of an old house with a large garden and eccentric neighbors. Soon she meets Luz Noceda, a strange girl with an even stranger cat and a grandma that seems all but pleased to see Amity move into her new home...
