Her eyes captured his and for a moment he could have sworn he was looking into the depths of the universe, he could have sworn that time stood still and space itself shifted around them.
She blinked and the light in them was gone in an instant releasing him from his reverie with a sigh.
He took a long painful breath and scanned her face with interest trying to regain that state of bliss. Her eyes were as pained and deep as they had always been, her stare became guarded as she noticed his intent, her eyebrows snapped into a frown and her full lips slightly parted maybe in protest but closed just as fast. The right corners of her mouth twitched into a small smile and then her whole face became blank, the utter definition of indifference.

He did not love her. It was a loveless marriage to him. In his eyes, she is just a burden who cooks food for him. And in return, he will earn money and place it in her bank account. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --
Unwritten Bond
Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her. "what are you doing here" she asked staring at him with disbelief. he came forward looking at her with anger. his jaw clenched his eyes darting back and forth from Iram to an old man with her "what happened to you "he almost growl looking at her and she flinches from his sharp tone. he takes deep breath. "answer my question, love . who hurt you " he asked firmly yet gently. he slowly grabs her chin . holding her in place . observing her bruises closely. she stares at him with tears in her eyes.
I was there
Her eyes seem to be possessed with something, as the sun's rays reflect off the glassy surface, ashamed to be in her presence. Inside, stars revolve deep inside the vast galaxy she has managed to create, and as I trudge deeper into the depths of unknown, time and reality seem to pause and bow before her. A tinge of rose-inflicted water swirls in her eyes and blurs my vision, but her aura is somehow sweet. Like candy, her addictive smile lure all who see her, and her layered personality is timid, shy, and delicate. But don't be fooled, once she warms up, she is chirpy, and cheerful. What does that description make you think of? An angel in a mortal's soul? A mere dream? I grew up with her, and she was the equivalent of something that even heaven couldn't conjure. But life is a deceiving creature. A lie. Because whilst her body portrays a perfect, shameless, care-free girl, her soul is slowly dying. When I realized that she'd be enrolling at Yuko High, my blood levels spiked. However, it turns out that the girl I thought I knew was long gone. People change, and nothing stays the same. And in that time, I've changed a bit myself. One thing I do know is that she isn't happy. But I happen to have just the solution for that...
