A Quest for Joy

After a tragic assassination attempt of her mother, Kim Taeyeon became an orphan and suffers from amnesia. Despite losing her memories that caused a strange shift in her personality, Taeyeon became the smartest girl at her school. However, only a rare few knows her hidden talents due to her lack of interest in demonstrating them. Thus, she enjoys a slack and leisurely life. Her mysterious aura caught the eyes of many schoolmates, yet no one dared to approach her. Until the arrival of her persistent seatmate, Tiffany Hwang.
Tiffany's patience and perseverance seem to cause many reactions out of the cold and careless Taeyeon. But Tiffany's interest in the girl had also caught the attention of Tiffany's best friend, Jessica Jung. The daughter of a well-known executive from one of the top companies in Seoul, GG Corp.
One day, fate pulls Tiffany away from Taeyeon for Tiffany to study in America, causing a great misunderstanding between the two friends. On the other hand, it also allowed Tiffany to rebuild her relationship with her best friend.
Dedicated in following her own path, she disobeys her uncle's wish for her to study in America and arrives in Seoul.
As if fate was not done with her, her new roommate is none other than her high school enemy, Jessica, who has come back to Korea due to her father's request.
During her studies in Seoul, she develops a highly independent and cold personality. However, that did not prevent certain individuals to take a surprising amount of interests in her. As fateful events present itself, some of her past slowly resurfaced and through time, it inevitably catches her attention. At first Taeyeon was oblivious, however, as more coincidences happen, her heart can no longer leave her questions unanswered.
Things get even more complicated when Tiffany arrives back in Seoul as if God was testing the three in a cruel game of love.
Amid all, she discovers that her biological father was the wealthy CEO of GG corporation.
