Evelyn Gordon's beginning her first year of boarding school alongside her best friend Rory. Evelyn's been diagnosed with a rare disease nicknamed the Wonderland Effect which causes her to fully believe she lives in the stories she reads. Every other patient diagnosed with this disease as died from it. For this reason she can only ever read 7 books in her entire lifetime.
But when Evelyn gets befriended by the most popular guy in school she can't help but risk the rules, because, it'll be fine. . .
Until it isn't.
