Sonic had always viewed his super form as something positive; something that gave people hope. A nice trump card in an otherwise losing situation or a nice safety net to keep for the right moment. The emeralds might be hard to track down sometimes but in the end it had always been worth it. So why did he feel a sense of dread when looking at them now? Something was wrong.

Sonic escapes the torment on his own and gets lost, unable to go further, Fleetaway is the only soul for miles! He finds Sonic collapsed and practically dead with no memories beyond the torture. Rouge comes back from a mission hearing about the death of sonic and shadow daughter and goes to confront the others Sonic starts avoiding his friends but still help citizens what will happen when sonic looses all his feelings?
