"Isabella-Rose wait! Rosie! Wait, please stop!" but I didn't listen I just kept going, the humiliation was just giving me enough motivation to get far away from him as fast as I can.
But then then he eventually caught up and stepped in front of me and he held my big shoulders. But I refused to look at him in the eye so my eyes were glued to the ground.
"Look at me." he said with such a demanding tone that I just gave in and looked up.
"I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings, I told you that I love you and that I care about you, but just not the way you want me to. You're my best friend's niece Isabella-Rose. You're like my little sister. I deeply care about you, and I like our conversations, I don't want us to stop talking to each other. But I'm just way too old for you, I'm 24 you're 17 that's a 7 year age gap. That's way too old." as he said all this I couldn't stop thinking of how foolish I've been.
