Do you believe in love at first sight? Or maybe, it's more along the lines of lust at first sight. To Emma Swan, she knew her feelings were developing for Professor Regina Mills even through difficult circumstances. That won't stop her though. Emma knew she had somehow met the one... she just had to make Regina believe it.

Storybrooke has a deep and dark secret and Emma was the only one brave enough to bring it out to light. Will this secret affect her relationship with Regina? Will this secret save them? They say time heals all, but would that be enough for the brave Savior?

*This is written in Emma's POV*

"Emma, talk to me please." I asked as I gave the Savior her drink. "I left him." Surprised at her statement, I thought I was hearing things. "You left him? You left Killian?" "Yes, I left him" "Aww Emma". I sighed and then pulled my friend in for a hug. After a while, Emma had stopped crying, sat up, took a swig of her scotch then turned her face to look at me, she held my gaze with those green eyes. "I'm sorry Regina, you were the only person I wanted to come to. I hope you don't mind." "Emma, you're always welcome here you know that." My concern for Emma was deepening. "Do you want to talk?" I continued. "I don't love him, something happened recently that made me... ahh... made me be truthful to myself and I cannot continue to live this lie anymore." Emma took another swig of her drink. "But is he not your true love? I don't understand dear." Emma returned her eyes to confront my own chocolate colored globes, staring intently as if she was willing her eyes to speak, minutes passed before Emma verbally spoke again. "No Gina, he is not, and I don't want to fix our marriage, it has been a shamble from the start."
