16 year old Miracle has always been... Soft spoken as some may say. She is mute and has never ventured outside her home town or away from her parents. She's jumped at the chance to go in a fall trip to a campsite for 2 weeks. While there she meets a counselor, Trenton, who is one of her first friends well- ever.
Miracle will go through physical and mental challenges to hold on to her first chance at a normal life and her first chance at romance.

Troubled.
Eve is 16 years old. She has normal friends and normal teenage habits. She didn't sneak out or smoke anything. She cussed sometimes and had a guy best friend she did secret things with. Her parents are Catholic, so they see her normal teen behavior as acting out beyond reason and continuously look for somewhere she can be 'fixed'. Her therapist suggested a place that looked like camp. Two strangers come get her in the middle of the night and bring her to the worst place she has ever been to in her life. When she comes back to live with her best friend, she is nothing like she was when she left, but he promised he'd wait for her.
