Summary- 
Elizabeth Smithson is cursed. At least that's what her mother said before succumbing to hysteria when Liz was 12. Every woman in her family at some point or another goes totally madly insane, starting with her great, great, great grandmother. Four years later when Elizabeth was 16 her mother was lobotomized for her incoherent ramblings about curses, wraiths, and evil. Liz does not want to end up like her mother, but she feels everyone around her waiting. She feels them ask silently "When will the hysteria come." After her father's death, two weeks after Elizabeth's 19th birthday, Elizabeth is taken into the care of her Uncle Xander. He delivers to her the terrifying news, She is to marry Henry Byrum the widowed business man who is rumored to be just as handsome as he is cruel. Elizabeth dreads living the rest of her life with a man still in love with his dead wife, but she has no choice. She marries Henry and moves into his estate with his five children, and there she begins to see things. Great and terrible visions, of the past or present she does not know. It seems her mother's hysteria has passed on to her. She is a cursed girl, and she must break her curse, before the madness sets in.All Rights Reserved
