About someone that had never been seen in this story's world before. How will this new character change destiny? Well you'll just have to see, and find out.

A young thief in The Last City finds himself befriending some of the City's Guardians and begins to find new purpose, but his proclivity for thievery puts him in a rough spot with many enemies. The newly adopted Hunter must find his way out of a mess of his own creation, making new allies and even more enemies along the way, and discovering what it means to be a Guardian. Additional Note - This is very experimental, but I've created a soundtrack for the story to listen to as you read. The numbers in parenthesis throughout the story indicate where songs begin. The Amulet of Daylight was shattered by Merlin to avoid it being in bad trolls's hands so Merlin, before he died, scattered the pieces across the world. Decades later, a 15 year old human boy named Jim Lake Jr. finds the Daylight stone on the counter of his kitchen and he has no idea what it is. But Jim's life gets even crazier when he's told of a secret underground world of trolls under Arcadia. And that blue glowing stone he found on his counter is the Daylight Stone, the same stone that powers the Amulet of Daylight. It soon becomes a chase to Daylight. TROLLHUNTERS: CHASING DAYLIGHT It's a creature from that of a nightmare. And exactly what Eli said, stone for skin. Except this creature's stone for skin is much darker and I don't like how he's eyeing me like I'm a delicious entry. Maybe my knife skills can come to play? Oh, who am I kidding, I'm dead. This is my OC, Artemis's, backstory. Artemis is a fennec fox, don't ask why, I thought is was cute. Keep in mind, this is all fake, my life isn't actually like this. I suppose you all know that an OC and the real person are two completely different individuals most of the time. Unlike me, who is fatherless, Artemis is motherless. I drew the cover photo, it's not the best, but it's cute. Artemis's name is Ash (like mine) but then it becomes Artemis later on. You'll understand that better when you read. Also, I took that Soldier, Poet, King quiz. I'm a king/ruler, hence the title. For some reason, when I took that quiz, it made me want to make an OC with a backstory. I have no idea why. So I decided to incorporate that into the backstory. ANDDDDD, my OC has nothing to do with the goddess Artemis. Artemis is just the name I chose. So don't be in the comments like "actually, in Greek mythology, Artemis is like THIS" because I know. I love Greek mythology and stuff like that. I know quite a bit about it.
