Morpheus closed his eyes at her question. There wasn't a word he hated more. This whole Sandman legend was making this job very difficult, especially when it was a matter of life and death...
Charlotte Denver, preferably called Charlie has had nightmares ever since she was a young child. The now twenty-four year old couldn't remember when exactly it started, but she knew it was getting worse each year. Now desperate to get in a good night's sleep more than ever, she resorts to a new method her therapist suggested. Wearing her body out by walking or running each night.
And each night, she would have someone watch her. Someone, who would soon realize that maybe Charlie's nightmares didn't come all too natural, like she always thought.
Convinced he cursed her a long time ago, Morpheus Oneiroi offers to help. Known to occasionally cure children's sleepless nights with his father Hypnos, the twenty-six year old, tall, dark man is nothing like his reputation. He is rather difficult to work with, at least for Charlie.
Yet, one taste of a normal life was enough for her to put their difficulties aside and go on an adventure, she ought to never forget- despite having her memory erased quite a few times...
