Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. But then a strange happening starts in their peaceful forest, creating tension as it seems their leader can't handle the pressure. Meanwhile, the struggling BatClan does whatever they can to survive the upcoming leaf-bare, but it seems their leader will have to take it to an extreme just to live another season.
