Amberclan's former medicine cat Sandstep was banned from her duties as she had become pregnant, but the loss of a medicine cat wasn't the only misgiving that would plague this clan and the other clans around them. When Sandstep was given a mysterious prophecy by a Starclan medicine cat, and no one besides her mate Risingriver believes her, that Amberclan and the clan's around them have a great period of darkness ahead of them. When tensions rise with the new found love between Blazepaw of Amberclan and Magmapaw, daughter of Flamestar who is the leader of Mountainclan, not even Starclan knows what lies in the trail ahead.
