This wasn't how their senior year was supposed to go. Kaila and Carla just wanted to get through without getting evicted from their apartment. Kaila was not suppossed to fall in love with Lilith, Lilith wasn't supposed to get kicked out of her family home and move in with them. They just wanted a normal senior year. But normal is not what happened to them, normal doesn't tend to roll with them.
