On a modern Earth with his last mission, Will has been teaching his best friend, Ash, how to control his Fae powers. Now, after several years, Will receives a new mission from his queen. He and Ash must track down another filid, part-Fae and part-human like themselves, suspected for the systematic murders of others like them. Once they meet her, however, they learn that things aren't quite what they seem. And, if her strangely familiar girlfriend is right (and she usually is), The Morrigan, the queen of Fae, might not be the ally they thought.
