The Hakuoki: Whispers In The Dark Series is a story about a young fox demon that is traveling in search of her long lost older brother. During her travel, she met the men of the Shinsengumi and the main protagonist, Yukimura Chizuru. Throughout the ordeal, my oc, Amamiya Yukina fell for Shinsengumi's First Division Captain, Okita Souji.
Book 1 which is this story title, 'The Everlasting Winds' will focus solely on Yukina's relationship development with the original casts, her search for her older brother and the events that lead up to the battle of Toba-Fushimi.
