Roxanne Johnson (Ariana Grande) keeps having nightmares about a purple moon and it's starting to bother her and she wants some answers. her fianceé, Johnny Kyle (Tom Hiddleston) is getting worried about the nightmares Roxanne keeps having but her childhood friend, Stephanie Monroe (Milla Jovovich) has supernatural powers and might know where the nightmares are coming from. a female scientist, Ellie Booker (Halle Berry) found out that a solar eclipse is coming October, 19th 2020, and is 9 months pregnant with a baby girl, and Stephanie senses that something is coming. Roxanne's brother, Danny Johnson (Jesse Eisenberg) also a scientist can't find any answers about the solar eclipse meaning something. and Johnny's friend a soldier from the army, Jared Vines (Mark Wahlberg) is going to see what will happen on halloween night fighting to keep people safe.
