Raijin Devereaux has been weak all his life. That's because he was born sick, his body unable to cope with the disease that continues to grow inside of his body.

His amount of power and strength is doesn't compare to those of his family bloodline. He feels more like a liability than an asset compared to those that are stronger than him.
