The wind blows in my hair as I ride. Though orcs surround me, my faithful steed, Gildal, does not shy. My bow twangs as I shoot an orc through the neck. This battle is a good one; I shall write a song about it when I return. If I return.
An orc’s massive battle-axe swings toward my head. The momentum is too much; I cannot stop it! I urge Gildal forward.
I give in to a sigh of relief. The axe-blade missed my neck by less than an inch, snagging a few stray strands of my hair and taking them with it.
I am Linhalloth Mailinneth, that is, Musical Hiding Flower, Soft Music, and this is the story of how I found true love and made a new friend from a very strange land…

Ambitions of a Mountain King (The Hobbit Fanfiction)

18 parts Complete Mature

In a land far away there lived Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Men, Wizards, etc. They all lived in peace until the Necromancer came and riped it all apart. This Necromancer can summon the dead, and has an army of Orcs at his disposal. A pale orc by the name of Azog the Defiler has his sights set on a certain Dwarven Prince, that will soon come the King Under the Mountain. He did everything the Necromancer asked for, even if that meant killing innocent children. One day their came a Battle. A battle of 5 different armies. But before I tell you that story, let me tell you the story of love, passion, betrayal, defiance, and family. A story that will make you cry, that will make you wish I was dead, one that will even make you wish that you were there. This is the story of how a certain Dwarven prince fell in love with a half-Elf, half-Dwarf.
