Thomas was a to put it simply, a nobody with a very simple dream. To settle down and live the rest of his day's in peace with his own little shop. When the Moon Presence is on his last inch of life he decides to cut a deal for the Hunter, a deal bound by blood to be precise. The deal was that in exchange for his life, he will allow the Hunter to wake from this dream and live the rest of his day's.
