The stereotypical highschool romance, viewed from the eyes of the player's best friend.

Lily James and Mason Stewart have known each other since the 3rd grade, with a bond closer to that of brother and sister. Now it was high school, and while Lily was popular she preferred to stay in the background, letting Mason take the spotlight and embrace his role as the high school player.

However, all of that begins to change when Autumn Woods is thrown into the mix. Small, smart, and feisty when needed, to Lily's delight, she and Mason embark on the stereotypical high school romance. Offering comic relief and advice when needed, Lily finds that she is not without some romance and drama of her own.

Romance, drama, laughter, and more are in store for the player's best friend.

She'd die for love. He didn't believe in love. *** From reading The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, to watching 10 Things I Hate About You, to listening to You are in Love by Taylor Swift, Emily Kingsley's life is a sum of moments she has spent after romance. Watching, reading, listening or daydreaming, romance has never failed to comfort this high school junior of 17 years of age. She has her own issues: self-sabotage, lack of focus in studying, randomly popping up acne and not loving the way she looked. But she could forget all that as long as she is reading about two people falling in love and finding their happily ever after. Emily wants a romance for herself too, and she knows just the person for it. Landon McArther, a senior in her school. According to Emily, Landon is handsome, sophisticated, well-spoken and unlike any of the immature boys of her class who didn't get her at all. Landon was everything Emily has always dreamed about and moreover he appreciates her for the person she is. But there's just a teeny-tiny problem. Landon McArther has a girlfriend. While that wasn't in Emily's bingo card, she hopes, prays, and longs for the day Landon will be single (because he is Emily's soulmate, and he has to be) and awaits her chance for romance. At the same time, her seatmate in chemistry, the rumored delinquent, grumpy asshole Nathan Callahan, makes fun of her romantic dreams. Can Emily ever find true love? Completed. A fun romcom that will make you scream and squeal and blush! Allie's life has been flipped upside down. She's never been a big fan of change, but as she starts her dreaded first year of high school, it's feeling like a friend- or, rather, an enemy that she completely loathes. Gwen, her best friend, used to have absolutely no interest in boys. Yet, Allie's brother catches her eye. Alec and Gwen sign a contract to have a fake relationship, mostly to throw Allie off, but instead of that, they throw her onto misery. They never expected the train wreck to end with her and Cole... and well, like most love stories, the signers (Alec & Gwen) just can't resist the blooming love they have for each other. ***
