It's about a girl wanting to be a siren, yes a siren not a mermaid. Many people told her that she meant that she wanted to be a mermaid but she always reply "No not a mermaid, a siren." she said while staring at the person who asked her, with voidless eyes.
When she got older she still remember her dream to be a siren. She lives near the mountains that is why she always head out to go to the cliff near the sea every 2 am. She always sing the same old song that is sang by her mother when she was just a little kid.
When she was about to go back, she suddenly hears a voice, a voice of a siren.She knew, it was the voice of the siren. Without hesitation, she jumped.

She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat.
