It's about a girl wanting to be a siren, yes a siren not a mermaid. Many people told her that she meant that she wanted to be a mermaid but she always reply "No not a mermaid, a siren." she said while staring at the person who asked her, with voidless eyes.

When she got older she still remember her dream to be a siren. She lives near the mountains that is why she always head out to go to the cliff near the sea every 2 am. She always sing the same old song that is sang by her mother when she was just a little kid.

Her parents don't understand Her imagination. The human on the other hand wants back full humanity, they captured mythic creatures and kill them or used them for experiments. She want to help her people but she need ally's along the way. Her name is calliope, she's is a ordinary girl wanting her life to be interesting. Along the way with her friends she finds a human man trying to kill all myths. She is determined to save her people. Now this is my first book/novel I ever made I know it's not perfect but I will keep trying to develop my writing skills in the mean time I hope you enjoy this story I wrote. With a 2nd person perspective.

A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.
