"What a mother should. Seems like she forgot what true love is. Her belief that he loves her for her, and naught for her hair is the problem. Belief is a weed. It grows wild and deep. If you want to destroy it for good, you have to uproot it."  Gothel gave a last glance at the firecamp, and then addressed Weiss directly. "You ought to be with Rapunzel no matter what. Make sure she is safe, and if he harms her, kill him then and there."  
"Weiss shall do what the mage says".

As they work together and find a rocky truce between themselves they travel the city solving crimes with a magical association. Raven accepts Claire without cause while Claire lays her life down for the man who stole her heart. As they fall for one another a dark figure lerks in the shadows, plotting something sinister for our mage Claire. Could this dark figure perhaps have something to do with Claire's unclear past? Can Raven, a Black, somehow save this woman before she's taken from him forever?
