As a now top ranked police officer in the county Aliyah lives a pretty isolated and happy life. When she was younger she has always dreamed of becoming a police officer but the government has other plans.

When the government sees that the population of earth is too high they find a way to secretly create a institution to decrease the population with 10 people selected randomly each year to be sent to space on a wild goose chase and false hopes and have their past memories completely erased with only their tasks in mind. The government then choses one of the 10 to inject with a serum in them that causes them to lose all humanity and cause them to only know how to kill the other 9 crewmates.
