Marinette is France's most beautiful princess, the daughter of a merry King Tom and happy Queen Sabine. This princess, however has a secret. She has a secret identity, a courageous feminine warrior Ladybug, who works with her parter Chat Noir to protect Paris from akumatized villains. One day, King Tom tells Marinette she is going to be having an arranged marriage. Marinette likes prince Adrien but doesn't feel ready, however. Becoming a wife will mean an end to Ladybug. Upset, Marinette begs her father to deny the proposal from Prince Adrien. That very night, an angry cat, kidnaps the beautiful Marinette and holds her captive, hoping to win her love. While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
