One day, King Tom tells Marinette she is going to be having an arranged marriage. Marinette likes prince Adrien but doesn't feel ready, however. Becoming a wife will mean an end to Ladybug. Upset, Marinette begs her father to deny the proposal from Prince Adrien. That very night, an angry cat, kidnaps the beautiful Marinette and holds her captive, hoping to win her love.
