What happens when a demon escapes and falls in love with an archangel? Anise is the first daughter of Lucifer, the ruler of hell. She found a way out of the chains of which she was born with. She runs to the human world, determined to find a way to break the rest of her families chains. Stephan is the angel told to go hunt Anise down, and kill her. But at the last moment, he realizes that she is just another victim of his mothers rage. Eventually, he falls in love with the one person who he was told to slaughter.
