15 year-old Kyra Fellowen meets 16 year old Peter Hasmar on a chatting website called RollText. They become friends and talk for what seems like hours. But, of course, it's a one-time text room so they agree to keep in touch on Snapchat. They talk for months and months until all of a sudden he never replies back to any of her texts and poof, he was gone. Seven years later Kyra is now 22 and has just graduated college to become a lab scientist. Today is her first day at work and it goes well for most of the day, that is until she meets someone while walking out of the building. ~~ A/N: AHHH This is what my second book is gonna be like ya'll. Sometimes life is hard. Other times, it's easy. For Peter, on the other hand, it seems to be only the former. His brother is everything, he is nothing. His father is missing in action, school is one big mess of bullies, and his thoughts are riddled with dark secrets of the past. His life is just difficult. That is, until he meets Kelly. A beautiful, seemingly innocent girl who is actually hiding her own broken past, but sometimes two broken people might be able to help each other to begin again... *trigger warning: abusive family relationships and depression. (This book is in the process of being edited)
