The protectors are a group of ranger elites that have trained themselves to have greatly enhanced senses along with reasoning skills, awe-inspiring strength, and amazing tracking skills. The protectors each live within one of the several great forests of the kingdom. Headquarters, and the first protectors outpost, are both in the forest of NeverDawn; where the vampires have resided due to the seemingly everlasting night cycle which, in turn, is due to the sun not shining through the thick canopy. Vampires have made an alliance with the kingdom due to the first apprentice's, or second protector, ability to navigate well in their forest and his stealth skills.All Rights Reserved

A Hunter's Quest in the Siren's Swamp by Oofella

There is debris where shacks once stood, and you can smell the charred flesh of the people who once lived there, including your family. Devastated, your anguish overwhelms you as you fall to your knees. After a few moments, you manage to gather yourself and look toward the eastern sky, where the light catches the glimmering castles that protect the gentry class from the monster infestation. Why should they be safe from the creatures at the expense of other people's lives? You grab your trusty sword and take off to the east. Nothing has prepared these elites for what is coming for them.
