But sometimes sucked when he found himself staring at his best friend Oikawa knowing that they weren't meant to be. He felt guilty, to be honest. Knowing there is someone who is probably out there waiting for him but he couldn't help falling in love with the cocky bastard that was Tooru Oikawa."
In a world where people can see the marks and drawings that are on their soulmate's skin, Oikawa and Iwaizumi fall in love with each other, a person they don't think is their soulmate. What will happen as they are both afraid of rejection and afraid to disappoint whoever their soulmate may be.

I got this idea from @/hugeiwasimp_ on Tiktok! Iwaizumi and Oikawa admit their love for each other. Ushijima and Tendou admit their love for each other. But there's something wrong. Ushijima has like Oikawa since middle school and Iwaizumi starts having wet dreams about Tendou. This obliviously puts the relationships in a tough spot. So with their hearts hurting, Tendou and Oikawa break off their relationships and end up in their own complicated relationship with each other. Iwaizumi and Ushijima struggle with their past and their internalized homophobia, since this situation has sent them in spiraling thoughts. After soon reconciling the four men decide to get together as one. That is were this book ends. There will be a squeal about their life in a poly relationship and the hardships of such.
