(Prologue Only) Project: Code Name "Ruse" was the world's first artificial human. Created from chemicals and the imagination of one of the brightest minds in the nation, he could have been considered one of science's greatest accomplishments. But never has Ruse been recognized as such. While the pride and joy of his creator, Doctor Connor Williams, Ruse has always been seen by everyone else as a freak of nature, a gruesome experiment, a monster, a fake, a threat to the human race. And when his creator, the only person who sees him as more than an unethical science experiment, suddenly passes away, Ruse is left to face the cruel world alone. Without his shield he finds himself a victim of serious bullying and discrimination. But maybe, just maybe, through hard work and dedication he'll be able to convince them all that he's not a monster; that he's more than useless and worthy of their acceptance. Or maybe he'll have to explore beyond what he knows if he want's to find true friends.
