I walked up to the plate. My head was spinning and my hands were wet. The pitcher looked at me with her large brown eyes. They scared me for it was my first time I was able to hit a ball in a major game. The ball flew out if her hand and started to bolt at me. It was at the moment that I noticed it was coming right to me. I missed. The ball went right into the umpires MIT. I totally missed the first ball. I could do is look blank. How could I miss that ball I had been practicing for months and know that I was in the game I flunked. The pitcher started again. Her stare did not scare me I knew what I have to do. I swung the bat and BAAM I hit it. To me it liked like a home run. But to the crowd, empire, and the other team. The ball was caught and I was out. I knew I should have felt ashamed but I was loving the boos. It felt as if the bios were cheers and I was the best player ever. Know I now it is my turn.
