Hailey Rudes is in her junior year of high school. She has a normal life on the outside. A great older brother. And a way too nice and loved older sister, who is secretly a bitch towards Hailey. Her Dad seems to completely ignore her existence and her mother- well she's not her biggest fan either.
Since Freshman year of high school Hailey has been reserved and living a different life outside of the school doors. Her only true friends who know the real Hailey and her struggles are her brother Joey and her two best friends, Milli and Simon.
She's planning on keeping her life to herself, but faith has other plans. A new boy comes to school. His Name is Elliot Johnsen. He has nothing better to do than annoy her and get under her skin.
While finals, prom and what not are around the corner, Hailey is struggling with keeping Elliot out of her life and trying to not fall for him.
On top of that a huge family secret makes Hailey question who she really is, but at the same time, explains so much.

The Best Kind of Betrayal

35 parts Complete

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
