Dean Winchester isn't much. He's a high school dropout who shares his home with his younger brother, Sam - and Sam's girlfriend - and who works at a scrap yard with his uncle. His routine is fairly normal. Get up, argue with Sam, go to work, come home, drink, find some entertainment, rinse and repeat. His life is fine. Good, even. Until the accident. 

Castiel Novak is almost too smart for his own good - logical to the point of being cold. He graduated from Harvard's medical program at the top of his class, and promptly accepted a residency program at one of California's top hospitals. He's never been good at picking up on social cues, but he handles his job with as much grace as he possibly can. He's content with how he lives with everything he has, always throwing himself into his work. Until the accident.

This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side. Dean with having to deal with taking Lisa out on first dates almost every week to try and spark her memory. Then Sam constantly in the hospital because Jess was burning up. They also had to deal with there jobs, the older one worked at his mechanics shop, the younger was a lawyer. Now both were planning on spending Christmas alone. Dean in the shop and Sam in his library. Christmas was never something they could get into, everything was just too canny. But then they both get some new neighbors and began to discover some feelings they never knew were there.
