When I was younger I had a best friend. He was kind, caring, and very protective. He was amazingly beautiful. He was the one person that always made me feel like I was someone and I wouldn't disappear, but then.... He disappeared. It was like one day he was here the next thing he wasn't. I was twelve when my best friend vanished. I told my father and he thought I was insane. He claimed that I never had a friend named Jeff. He put me on pills to forget him and soon I did.

But then three years later I saw him, and the memories came rushing back. But how could this be happening? He wasn't real? He couldn't be. I thought I was going delusional and told myself that it was a trick of my eyes, but then he came to me. My world turned upside down and I was terrified.

He was different. He wasn't kind or caring. He was cold and cruel. I didn't know who he was anymore.I tried to tell him that he wasn't real, but ever time I saw him the reality became more real and frightening.

My best friend came back.My best friend was different. My best friend was something inhuman..........
