Jessie Iero had no idea what she was getting herself into when she agreed to help her cousin, Frank, with a "musical project." Before long, she's a permanent replacement for the drummer in the struggling band My Chemical Romance.  Not only that, but she is beginning to fall for the introverted, cold-hearted lead singer, Gerard Way.

Gerard Way loves his best friend to pieces, but asking a stupid teenager to fill in for their drummer is conclusive evidence that Frank was dropped on his head as a child. The girl is seventeen, how could she be expected to be in the band full time? And how could Gerard be expected not to fall in love with the beautiful little twat?
