As the Darkness Approaches the Light
The new year is often seen as a new beginning, a new start. Chris didn't typically see it this way, that was until he met a girl at a New Years Eve party that would come to change his life. Caroline was just like everyone else, she WANTED to be just like everyone else, but there was something about her that made Chris tick, that made him crave her touch, even if it was just her hand in his. Caroline was blind. Only a small percentage of those legally considered blind are COMPLETELY blind, but Caroline fell into that category. Maybe it was Caroline's optimistic outlook on life and the world despite being blind that made Chris fall in love with her. Maybe it was her bravery, her resilience, her independence, her independence - or maybe it was a combination of all of it.
