After returning from Tartarus, Percy has no more monsters to slay and no more battles to fight. Everyone agrees that he needs to go spend some time at his home in Manhattan, but nothing is the same anymore. Without the usual distractions, PTSD from all of his traumas come back to haunt him in terrifying flashbacks. Perhaps worst of all, his relationship with Annabeth is strained at best. How can Percy live in a world that is nothing more than ordinary?
