It was freezing cold and i was shivering. Heavy rains are pouring. Good thing I have an umbrella with me, but it is not enough to shelter me.

I was hugging my backpack so tightly. Hoping that my school materials won't be as wet as me. I was kicked out from my home. No. I was kicked out from the hell I was living in.

Napapitlag ako ng may malakas na bumusina. I squinted my eyes to see clearly. Behind me was a black car. The door of it opened and a man step outside, not minding the heavy rain that might wet his signatured clothes.

Nangilid ang luha ko nang mabanaag ang labis na pag-aalala at galit sa kanyang mga mata. He run towards my direction. He run like he's in a marathon, like a participant so desperate to win the game.

And as his warmth engulfed my cold skin, I knew right there that I was safe and no longer alone in this cold and silent street.

"Baby, why are you fucking outside in the middle of the night and on a damn rain!!??"
