Maya Springs is a 16 year old girl with a problem.

She died.

But, when she came back to life in a hospital after a mysterious car accident, her life becomes strange. She starts seeing things. Supernatural things. She couldn't explain any of it. Her friends left her because they thought she was crazy. She was orphaned, seeing as her parents died in the car crash. Her life was over, that is, until Maya's brother, Zane, comes back to town to take care of her. When Zane was walking home from the store a block away, he was mugged.

Zane lays in the hospital, no chance of surviving. The bullet pierced his lungs and cut the heart. Maya, not wanting to lose another family member, makes a deal with the man behind all evil.
