What could be the outcome of two era's clashing?

Slowly a second mystery-one that neither of them can explain-starts brewing. Is the growing attraction between the young adults just physical or is it something deeper? Some sort of connection? And who's playing their game with them? What will happen when the tragic story reaches its climax?
