A short story where Lily finally cracks after James asks her out in the seventh year. She shouts, screams, curses at James, not knowing that he decided that if she didn't accept it, he'd stop forever. James becomes sort of numb, and doesn't really understand why it was him, HIM of all people, was destined to fall for the fiery redhead, who was perfect in every way, but would not, would NEVER, fall in love with him. The Marauders are furious, but Lily is oblivious to what she caused. Will it be fixed? Read to find out.
