If you were faced with your deepest fear, what would you say, and who would you say it to? This shocking and provocative question is at the core of the remarkable and inspiring book, Conversations In The Dark: If you want to see the truth you must be brave enough to look. This book emerged from the conversation series designed to help people discover their truth developed by a young up and coming writer Suhail "Hail" Variawa In this book, Hail goes beyond the themes and genres, and dives into what it means to discover your truth, why people should do this. If you feel living more authentically could allow you to have a greater impact on others, or you can't find the words to speak your truth as boldly as you know you need to, this is the book for you. Make no mistake, the path Hail lays out is dark, but not once you look deeper, because your greatest gift lies next to your deepest wounds.

The average human being spends every second of his day fighting against the force of nature to see another day. But I'm different. I'm not afraid of outside forces to take my life away - only myself. Approximately 10 years ago, something happened to me. Something really bad. But I'm not allowed to talk about it. As a way to release my frustration, I give hell to my body and everyone I come in contact with - especially my parents. No one knows about what happened except the ones who did it...and Him. But he didn't stay. Now, he's back and he's not talking either. I want to stop hurting, I need to stop. Make me stop.
