Judith Goodhope || Mother's House of Horrors

Judith Goodhope has never set in foot in Carsden before, but her long search for her missing daughter, a search she's undertaken for ten years, has led her here. Alone in the world, out of options, out of money, her job teaching English to high schoolers a distant memory, her broken marriage an already dull ache, Judith holds tight to only two things in this world: her undeniable feeling that her daughter is still out there, and her recently acquired but obsessively studied deck of tarot cards. They've steered her this far. She has no choice but to trust them.

She's taken a room in a boarding house in town (she'll worry about the bill later). Apparently there's some festival bringing other tourists in. There's definitely something about this town... She'll see what's in the cards.
