When James finally gets adopted from the orphanage after being there for 2 years, he has to live in a new city. In his new school he meets a boy called Adam. Adam's a little strange and distant, but James makes it his own personal mission to get Adam to open up. As secrets get revealed and answers are given, the two boy's realise that there's a little more to it than friendship.

When Adam is hunting down an angel for Lucifer, he is forced to travel back to the city he lived in when he was younger. At school he gets reunited with his old friends, James being one of them. But many things have changed over the years and Adam isn't sure if he can hide the fact that he's a demon or if he even wants to.
