When James finally gets adopted from the orphanage after being there for 2 years, he has to live in a new city. In his new school he meets a boy called Adam. Adam's a little strange and distant, but James makes it his own personal mission to get Adam to open up. As secrets get revealed and answers are given, the two boy's realise that there's a little more to it than friendship.

Otherwise you might get confused about the context since the characters already have a past. I know I ended the last book with a 15 years later part, but this story is taking place before that. About 5 years after the main events of the book. James is falling deeper and deeper into madness, not knowing if the boy he loves is okay or not. Alive or not. When Adam is hunting down an angel for Lucifer, he is forced to travel back to the city he lived in when he was younger. At school he gets reunited with his old friends, James being one of them. But many things have changed over the years and Adam isn't sure if he can hide the fact that he's a demon or if he even wants to. As his two lives get mixed up it only gets harder when he starts to develop some... confusing feelings for the blonde boy. May contain some violence and swear words and maybe a little gore. Adam commanded as he walked over to the door. 'Are we going outside?' James asked. 'Yep.' Adam replied, walking over to his own room to look for a hoodie to keep him warm outside. 'I know you sometimes like to get donuts at 3am, but I don't think that's the answer to my nightmare problem.' The blonde muttered. 'We're not going to get donuts.'
