Book 1 in 'The Royal Assassin' Trilogy | ORIGINAL WORK

Adira is an assassin and her only goal in life is to protect her younger sister, Natasha, especially after her older brother was murdered by the same people who are after the young girl. But when Natasha disappears and turns up dead two weeks later with marks that match Adira's dotting her arm, Adira hangs up her sword and disappears herself; after all, an assassin is skilled at disappearing.

But when a royal object known as the King's Warrior Sword goes missing and someone starts murdering innocents with it, leaving Adira's calling card at the scene, she teams up with Darren: an assassin she'd been hired to terminate, to try and find the sword and the murderer.

Not only do they uncover the murderer, but they also uncover betrayals and secrets that could destroy their entire Kingdom, leaving them open for an attack.

[COMPLETED] The First book in The Legends of Sciana series. What if dragons existed? What if there was a magical island full of them in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that no one had ever heard of or seen before? What if there was such thing as half-dragon hybrid humans that live among us? Scarlett Kaida--or Sera Kingston as she prefers to be called--has just discovered that she is the daughter of a dragon, and not just any dragon, the KING of dragons. One night she's attacked by a demon and saved by kids just like her, dragon royalty. There's Luc, the heir to the throne of the dragon peacekeeper; Talia, the future leader of the entire dragon army; and Kallan, a seemingly normal girl, except for the fact that she can tell the future. Scarlett is then sent to Eternal Academy, a prestigious school for dragon kids just like her, Scale Children. And for a homeschooler, it's quite a shock. Not only does she have to deal with the pressures of being Scale Child royalty, but everything from grades, mean girls, her boyfriend's creepy stalker and a threat from the evil dragon Kali that locked away her father. Scarlett receives information that someone on campus is one of Kali's minions, and will kill Scarlett and the rest of the Crown in six days, which isn't a lot of time at all. When the school goes into a rampage and blames her cousin, Adrian, for being the spy, Scarlett must risk it all to prove his innocence. And it doesn't get any better when she figures out she'll be betrayed by one of the people she calls a friend. In the end, which will she choose? Royalty or Revenge?
